The 1250-hectare-big park is a genuine phytoncide generator. Over 20 varieties and nearly one million trees grow in the Park, rendering the place the best destina-tion for relaxing your mind and body.

Located to the south of Hualien, Liushishi Mountain has over 300 hectares of lily flowers. The vast fields of flowers are one of the popular attractions in the blooming season.

The plants along the roads start to change after the Hongye River. When you see the pervasive tea farm, you will know that you have arrived in the home of tea, Wuhe. The newly established land art decoration, the big tea pot, welcomes everyone to Wuhe to experience the tea-serving ceremony and taste fine tea.

Upon entering the current Lintian Moun-tain Forestry Park, you can still sense the atmosphere of the past forestry park. Apart from the masculine tracks and equipment, the wooden buildings established along the mountains are still well preserved. The rich and quaint Japanese-style buildings demonstrate the tender side of the Lintian Mountain Forestry Park.

Chihnan National Forest Recreation Area used to be a lumber manufacturing distri-bution center. Upon entering the Area, you will see the historical traces of the logging and lumber manufacturing in the past. In the Area, there is the Forestry Exhibition Hall providing visitors with an introduction to Chihnan’s forestry development throughout its history.
