Occupying an area of 8 hectares, the farm grows organic vegetables and herbs. It is located next to the National Dong Hwa University by the Liyu Shan. The scenery is gorgeous, the air is fresh and natural resources are rich on the farm where we can often see wildlife, such as eagles, skylarks, pheasants, wild birds, hares, bamboo partridges and quail. When visiting the practice area, visitors can see that the “balanced ecology practice” is a natural growing method that is toxin free and organic. It is thus a “merciful and love practice”.

Qixingtan, Liyutan Waterfront Park, Litsun Fish Culture Farm, National Dong Hwa University (the highest education establishment in eastern Taiwan) and Jianqing Monastery are characteristic tourist attractions on Tai-9 Highway. Visitors must not miss these spots on their trip to Hualien.

The Taroko Valley refers to the nearly 20km-long canyon between Taroko and Tianxang. It is famous for its splendid and almost vertical marble valley. The best part of Taroko begins at the east entrance to the Yentzekow and Tzemu Bridge. Along this section there are cliffs, faults, valleys, continuous tunnels, marble layers and rivers everywhere.

The Mugumuyu Corridor along the Mugua River was originally built by the Taiwan Power Corporation for the repair and maintenance of the feeder lines stretching from east to west. Since Taipower recently expanded the section between Dongmen and Longjian, visitors have a chance to visit the corridor. After entering the water valley, we can see water falling from the magnificent Longjian Falls. Together with the great green mountains behind, visitors cannot help praising it by saying, “That’s it, the arcadia of arcadias!”
